While Rosé is not our favorite style of wine, somehow we keep running into versions we like, or at least that I like. Maybe it’s time to change that overall impression. Here’s another good one.
Wine: 2024 The Little Sheep Rosé
Winery Location: Languedoc Region, France
Tasted By: Neil & Cheri Date: May 2025
Tasting Notes: Light pinky color. The nose gives off red fruit, and that is what you get on the palate as well. It is very smooth and super easy drinking. Good anytime but a perfect summer afternoon sipper. We bought a bottle for home and after opening it realized even more how good it is. Great value as well. Cheri liked this one too, and that is very unusual for rosé.
Price Point – Under $15 and depending on where you are it could be lower. Online it shows up under $10 in a few spots.
Would We Buy It? – Yes. We don’t say that about many Rosés but this is a pretty incredible value, and delicious.
Maybe I do like Rosé. Can’t believe I even said that.
A votre santé!
