This wine is an excellent choice for pizza night, and represents a good value in a juicy Italian red.

Tasting Notes: this region is located almost directly across the Italian peninsula from Rome, on the Adriatic Sea. The juice is cherry red, with a nose full of bright cherry and berry fruit. Hints of oak and herbs are also present. It is medium bodied, with a solid fruit core. Bright acid and balance make it a great food wine, and it is a perfect choice for pizza night, or with pasta and red sauce. It stays solid through the mid-palate and into the long finish. This is a juicy red and very enjoyable.
Price Point – $15
Would We Buy It? – yes, we did and will again. It’s a solid red and also a good choice for an everyday house wine.
In the $15 range this is definitely worth bringing home.
