This is another repeat of one of our favorite mantras: you can get extreme value in lower priced Bordeaux in classic vintages. 2018 was one of those vintages, and this is one of those values.

Tasted By: Neil & Cheri Date: Feb 2022
Tasting Notes: Medium dark ruby juice, with a nose of red berry, raspberry, some herbs and oak. It is medium+ bodied, with red currant and other fruit on the palate. There is a hint of cherry, Medium tannins are well integrated, as is everything else. Good balance frames a smooth drinking experience. This is very nice, and very enjoyable. At 14% alcohol you also get a fairly substantial wine. Overall an excellent example of the value available in great vintage Bordeaux.
Price Point – under $15
Would We Buy It? – Yes – we did and we will buy more. This is an excellent value in Bordeaux and a quality red blend for under $15.
We’ll say it yet again. Great vintage Bordeaux offers some of the greatest values out there.
